Alexander Meladze, Esq.
Founding Partner
Alexander has 25+plus years of dispute resolution experience in New York and overseas. He is a veteran lawyer representing clients in commercial and civil matters, investment deals, various types of business transactions and real estate matters. Mr. Meladze is also known for his vast expertise in crisis management, investor rights and shareholder affairs including compliance and AML policies.
Alexander has vigorously and successfully represented western companies in investment disputes including anti-expropriation measures in Eastern Europe. These representations involved, among others, work with host governments, the US House and Senate delegations and the State Department.
Since 2014, Mr. Meladze has been assisting corporate clientele in crisis management providing strategic guidance and legal support to navigate complex challenges and protect their interests. With an approach that turns thorough defense into the basis of an effective offense, Alexander lays the groundwork from day one for future remedies. His record of success demonstrates the importance of his aggressive and strategic method of safeguarding the client’s future, as damage can be done even with well intending actions from within the company. After any outcome, Alexander’s team is not just willing but has set the legal foundation, to initiate lawsuits to rectify any damage to well-being and community standing, or reputation resulting from unfair conduct of bad actors.
Mr. Meladze is an honors graduate of Tbilisi Institute of International Relations, Faculty of Law (2000), and Columbia Law School (2002), He has been in private law practice in New York City since 2003. He is a member of New York bar, admitted to practice law in New York courts as well as Southern and Eastern Districts of NY. He possesses native fluency in English, Georgian, and Russian, has a working knowledge of Ukrainian, and basic skills in Spanish and Italian.
